McVey Multimedia, Inc. is a producer of commercial, industrial and entertainment video projects. Based in southwest Virginia, the company was founded in 1997 by Rick McVey, a professional actor with extensive experience in production. As a writer/producer, Rick has overseen the production of hundreds of television and radio commercials and dozens of long-form video presentations. He has also appeared as a performer in scores of theatrical productions, including work on stage, radio, television and motion pictures. He is currently a member of the Resident Acting Company at the historic Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia.

McVey Multimedia, Inc. provides its clients with consulting, scripting, casting, shooting and editing services as individual services or on a turnkey basis. "Freedom", McVey Multimedia, Inc.'s first feature-length film was released in 2007. Based on the true story of two captured Union soldiers who escape with the aid of the Underground Railroad, the project was filmed entirely on location in east Tennessee and southwest Virginia and has won numerous awards including Best Feature at the 2008 Virginia Independent Film Festival.
